My work is driven by a long-standing fascination with history, particularly the cultural and material realities of Ancient and Early Modern life. I draw on diverse sources — such as cooking recipes, historical graffiti, and monumental inscriptions — to investigate the interplay between power, society, and environment in shaping lived experience. I aim to share these insights not only to shed new light on the present, but also to make the textures of past lives vivid and accessible to contemporary audiences through publications, blogs, podcasts, and other media.
